As the most powerful country in the world, and as a leader for all free nations across the world, we have an obligation to the world. An obligation to search out better means to help America, and at the same time helping ourselves, and the world. I have a plan, a plan to revolutionize America's energy. I will set this nation on a course to building 45 new reactors by the year 2019(11 years shorter than John Mccains plan), the ultimate goal will be 125 new plants. These plants will power American homes and factories, for years to come. This task is necessary. We will need to recover all the knowledge and skills that have been lost over three decades in a highly technical field. We will need to do all of these things, and do them right, as we have done great things before.

What kind of nation we will be, what kind of world we will live in, whether we shape the future in the image of our hopes, is ours to determine by our actions and our choices.

The greatest honor history can bestow is the title of peacemaker. This honor now beckons America--the chance to help lead the world at last out of the valley of turmoil, and onto that high ground of peace that man has dreamed of since the dawn of civilization.
If we succeed, generations to come will say of us now living that we mastered our moment, that we helped make the world safe for mankind.
This is our summons to greatness.
I believe the American people are ready to answer this call.
But we must not allow attacks on our nation to go unpunished. America will not allow terrorists to threaten and terrorize the free world. The United States has all, but won the Iraq war. Our task nearly complete. But we must remain to help the Iraqi government take hold, we do not want our dead to die in vain...We do not want what we have fought for undone, we do not want to see a freed nation forced into a life of fear. We will do our duty to the world, but our duty to America comes first, the duty to our people. Thank you and God Bless!
